FAQs

Q - My light does not turn on.

A - Make sure the power connectors are properly connected, some bulbs are polarity specific and need to be installed in a certain way. simply rotate the connector which plugs to your vehicle’s factory harness by 180 degrees. If only one of the bulbs doesn’t work, swap the left and right side bulbs then test again. Sometimes it may caused by your vehicle’s CAN bus system, you need to install extra CAN bus decoder to solve the issue. If possible, you can test the non-working bulb on a separate 12v battery or other vehicles to determine the issue.

Q - My bulb does not fit.

A - Ordering the right bulb is the customers responsibility. Upon ordering the wrong bulb check our terms returns and exchange page.

Q - My Bulb is flickering or showing an error code.

A - Make sure the power connection is normal and stable. CAN-bus is a Controller Area Network Bus that allows the vehicle’s devices to communicate with each other. LED bulbs draw far less power than stock factory bulbs. The vehicle’s CAN bus system detects the low power draw and determines that the LED bulb is faulty or doesn’t recognize the bulb at all – resulting in the error or flickering. This issue is common on Dodge, Ram, Ford, Jeep, Chrysler, Mini, Volvo, Lexus, GMC, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Chevy and etc. You need to install extra CAN bus decoder or a 6W resistor to resolve the issue.

Q - My light is not that bright on one side.

A - If one of the bulbs has poor beam or light, swap the left and right side bulbs then test again. With ages, your headlight covers/lens may get cloudy which needs to be restored. Adjust the beam. For H11, 9005, 9006, and 9012 bulbs, you can use the included small Allen wrench to adjust the locking ring of the LED bulb to achieve the best beam pattern; For 9007, 9008, H4, and 9004 bulbs, the locking ring is rotatable, you can just rotate the bulb body to adjust the beam once installed. For most vehicles, we suggest keeping the LED chips face at 3 oclock and 9 oclock direction when locked into place. However, the orientation may differ for some vehicles. As long as the beam pattern is good, then don't worry about the recommended orientation.
